Location and Rules
Cold Iron is located in a back alleyway found on the outskirts of the main hub of the city. Most can't find it without first being given directions. In the alley there are steps going down fifteen feet with a sign at the top of the stairway held by iron chains. Cold Iron is a bar for the supernatural and magically gifted that sells drinks and meals to help satisfy some creatures more unique cravings and needs. While it is rare for humans to wander into the bar, it has happened from time to time in the past. At times like these the bartender will then flip on a red light over the bar to sign humans are present to the rest of the customers. As wells as the bar lights, the bar has further precautions against human awareness with a specialty bar menu not listed on the regular menus and serves all the food items and drinks as a regular bar.
To keep contention between races in the bar to a minimum, there are wards and charms placed around the bar to keep a calming effect on most races. There are also detaining cells in the back for creatures that go on a rampage with stronger wards that will neutralize nearly all supernatural creatures. The detaining cells however are reserved for troublesome customers that insist on causing damage to the bar property and refuse to take it outside. There are no brawls, feuds, spell-casting, or enchantments that affect others allowed on the property. Cold Iron is neutral territory for all races.
History and Workers
Cold Iron started business over eighty years ago when the main hub of the city was still located in the down town residents area. It was owned by an elderly old man and hadn't been in business for nearly 50 years before it was purchased, fixed up, and put in back in business by Javen McDouglas. The bar quickly took off with business in many underground circles and is somewhat an urban myth to many in the city with rumors speculating and greatly exaggerating what it actually is.
The bar's staff consists of five people normally.
Javen McDouglas- Human - Owner, bartender, waitress.
Mike Thanyal- Werewolf - Bartender most nights.
Abby Willow- Tree Sprite/water nymph - Waitress
Gareth Williams -Human/Leprechaun- waiter/janitor
Tahoe Riverside- Human Shaman Bouncer

Blue Absinthe: Code for Soul
This drink is made from gathered lost souls that no longer hold their previous nature that they had when alive; usually gathered from soul pools that no longer have an owner. The souls are then processed into a liquid form and must be kept cold to prevent it from quick evaporation. The drink usually gives off a medium sapphire hue.
Apple Cocktail with Olives: Code for Life Energy
This fruity drink is made from gathered plant life energy and taste like an apple cider. While lacking the full punch that human life energy holds, it will help satisfy most creatures' hungers and needs to a manageable level.
Clover Ale: Code for Leprechaun Ale
This extremely potent ale should not be drunk by any creature that can't hold its alcohol. It is bought straight from a clan of leprechauns and can have adverse effects on some magical beings. Bartender retains the right to deny this beverage from any customer.
